Fabry disease is a rare inherited lysosomal storage disorder. Genetic defects lead to enzyme deficiency, which in turn affects multiple organ systems, including the heart, kidneys, nervous system, and skin. Given the complexity of this condition, a single specialty is often unable to address all of a patient’s needs.
